Roy Lichtenstein is perhaps best known as the artist who used Ben-Day dots in almost all of his compositions. A Pop Artist, Lichtenstein loved to explore the symbols and iconography of everyday American life. His Interiors series explored the paradox between fine art and design, with both depictions of the ready-made objects and the painterly quality of the composition. In this piece, he has also included a cheeky nod to fellow Pop artist, Andy Warhol, by showing a version of Warhol's "Flowers" on the wall. This large screenprint is signed and numbered and nicely framed.
