Rearing into the air, Pablo Picasso's rendering of a white horse carrying a woman in full skirt and matching hat is comprised of wavy lines and bursts of soft color. Matching the horse's mane and tail, the curly black hair of the woman appears bouncy and creates contrast between her features and the demure pink and yellow dress she wears.
