An incomplete suite of 8 etchings (originally 10) by Marcel Gromaire titled "Les Contes de Gaspard de la Nuit" or "The Tales of Gaspard de la Nuit". Engraved in 1930 by Gromaire and Published in 1962 by Teriade in Paris, each work is signed in pencil by the artist. The suite comes from the collection of the late Larry Saphire. These etchings originally accompanied a collection of poems by Aloysius Bertrand and came from the collection of the late Larry Saphire.
