A portrait of a pensive man by Ukranian-born painter and sculptor, Mane-Katz. Katz studied in Paris at the Ecole des Beaux-Artes and was greatly influenced by Rembrandt and Cubism. He later fled to New York during WWII. This painting is signed lower left.
