Uno, Dos, Tres is an etching on Arches by Colombian artist Juan Antonio Roda, from the Graficario de la Lucha Popular en Colombia — a 1977 portfolio of 32 works by 32 Colombian artists aimed at bearing witness to popular struggle and effecting social change, with proceeds from sales supporting the Colombian Communist Party. The print presents a skeletal male figure seated in profile beneath a dark draped form from which a pointing hand emerges, the layered etched composition dissolving between multiple plate states into a meditation on mortality and reckoning. Signed, titled, numbered XXVII/XLV, and dated in pencil.
