Marc Chagall (Russian/French, 1887-1985), took a trip in 1931 to the Holy Land, which shook his perspective, spiritually and creatively. In 1960 he created Drawings from the Bible, consisting of 24 color lithographs illustrative carious scenes from the Bible. We see here Abraham's wife Sarah receiving the news from the Angels that although she is older in age she will be bearing the first son.
