The Fragmented into planes, this still life by Pablo Picasso portrays a bottle of rum seen through different viewpoints rather than through the Western tradition of linear perspective. Layered over one another, the two-dimensional planes represent the varying viewpoints of the work that insinuate the three-dimensions of the object itself.
