In this mixed media weaving, a rooster greets the dawn on the Seventh Day. Done in bright, 1970s-era colors, the sunrise is rendered in strips of various colors, textures and patterns. Adding to the composition is the mixture of loose wool, yarn, and embroidery used throughout this original woven artwork.
