Del Apocalipsis is an etching on Arches by Colombian artist Augusto Rendon (1933-2020), from the Graficario de la Lucha Popular en Colombia -- a 1977 portfolio of 32 works by 32 Colombian artists organized by the Prografica Workshop in Cali to bear witness to popular struggles, with proceeds directed to the Colombian Communist Party. The print depicts a massive dark figure with a gaping mouth looming over a burning industrial cityscape, with a spotted dog clinging to its back and a skeletal figure holding a scythe in the lower right. Signed, numbered, titled and dated in pencil.
