Student Group is a gelatin silver print from On the Acropolis, a portfolio of 25 photographs by Tod Papageorge made on the Athenian Acropolis in the summers of 1983 and 1984. The image depicts a large youth group gathered in a dense circle among the ruins, most seated on stones, one young man standing at center holding a book and addressing the group, photographed from above. Signed, titled, numbered and dated in pencil on verso.
