A Surrealist and Primitivist triptych of rusty red donkeys dancing amongst vines and stars. In the center of the composition, a donkey holds a sign that reads "La Ruelle aux Ânes Joyeux" or "The Alley with the Happy Donkeys" In the bottom center of the middle panel, the artist, Jean Fourton, signed and dated the piece.
