An oil painting of and older Middle Eastern woman preparing food by Jalal Gharbi (1920-2005) who was a prolific painter of both Middle Eastern life and American Western scenes. The Tunisian-born artist, who spent his formative years between Paris and his homeland, moved to the USA in the 1950's.
