August Mosca was an Italian and American artist who primarily focused on creating modernist cityscapes of New York City. This black and white print of a subway car speeding down the tracks of a tunnel was originally created using the silverpoint technique to achieve a fuzzy stippling effect. The work is signed and numbered by the artist in pencil.
