"The Fish Boy" is an oil on canvas by artist Wai Ming (b. 1938), dated 1976, signed lower right and signed, titled, and dated on verso. The work depicts a young boy standing at the edge of water in warm siennas and earth tones, wearing only a small red pendant at his neck, his hands clasped before him and gaze directed slightly off to the side against a loosely painted sky and shoreline.
