French Hotels by the Harbor is a watercolor by French artist Charles Levier (1920-2003), circa 1960. The work depicts a European harbor scene with loosely rendered multi-story buildings including a hotel and wine shop on the left and several sailboats moored in a gray-brown harbor on the right, with two small figures on the quay in the foreground, in a palette of muted pinks, grays, and red accents.
