Hollow Men Suite #4 is an etching and aquatint with chine colle on BFK Rives by American Abstract Expressionist artist Robert Motherwell (1915-1991), dated 1986, edition 37/49. The small print presents two densely worked black forms a large rounded mass at left and a smaller one at right, linked by diagonal strokes on a warm tan chine colle sheet, suggesting the weighted confrontation characteristic of Motherwell's mature gestural vocabulary.
