"In Motion" is an acrylic, gouache and pastel work on Arches paper by artist Jim Bird, dated 1988. The work features a cluster of bold gestural marks in black and blue at right, with a small yellow accent at left and sweeping brown and black arcing lines crossing the white ground. Measures 22 x 30 inches; signed and dated in pencil lower right.
