Salvador Dalí's (Spanish, 1904-1989) portrait of the great painter, El Greco. Doménikos Theotokópoulos was given the nickname El Greco due to his Greek roots. El Greco was one of the most famous painters of the Spanish Renaissance working primarily in the late 16th century.
