In this print, Pablo Picasso depicts a nude woman sitting in front of another nude figure. Resting in repose, the figure behind the woman appears to be sleeping while the woman herself returns the gaze of the viewer. Although less abstracted than some of his other works, the artist's use of perspective and layering adds complexity to the image.
