This painting was created by American artist Lowell Blair Nesbitt. His most well-known series, and perhaps his most beautiful and poetic, are the more than four hundred works he created using the flower as the theme, which he often depicted in close-up so that their petals seemed to fill the canvas. This oil painting in his typical style measures 50 x 36 inches. It is signed, titled, and dated verso, and is in excellent condition. It is displayed in a thin gold frame.
